MORAVIAN’S CULLEN AND WEAVER NAMED TO MEN’S BASKETBALL LANDMARK ALL-CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM

MADISON, N.J. --- Senior forward Eric Weaver (Succasunna, NJ/Roxbury) and junior center Chris Cullen (East Islip, NY/East Islip) of the Moravian College men’s basketball team have both been named to the 2010 Landmark All-Conference Second Team released by the conference office Tuesday.

Moravian posted a 7-18 record this season including a 3-11 mark during the Landmark Conference regular season.

Weaver, pictured at right, led Moravian in scoring this winter with an average of 12.8 points per game while playing in 24 contests.  Weaver also contributed 144 rebounds, 44 assists, 34 steals, 11 three-pointers and five blocked shots while leading the Greyhounds in minutes played per game at 34.4.  Weaver, who was also named to the Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball Team of the Year, completed his career with 885 points and 405 rebounds for Moravian.

Cullen, pictured at left, led the squad in rebounds grabbing 6.6 boards per game to go along with a scoring average of 12.4 points per game as he started in all 25 games for Moravian.  Cullen also added 27 assists, 25 blocks, 26 steals and a team leading 38 three pointers while averaging 29.8 minutes per contest.
