GREYHOUND’S BLAKE ENGLISH RANKED NATIONALLY IN NCAA DIVISION III STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College men’s basketball team has one player ranked and the squad is ranked in one category in the tenth NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2009-10 season for games through February 28th.

Freshman center Blake English (Sussex, NJ/Vernon Township HS) is 78th in the country in blocked shots with an average of 1.5 blocks per game.  English had 37 blocked shots in 24 games during his debut season.

The Greyhounds are 28th in free throw percentage this season at 74.5 percent, making 316 of-424 free throw attempts. 

Moravian has completed the 2009-10 season with an overall mark of 7-18 overall and 3-11 record in Landmark Conference action.
