MORAVIAN’S RYAN CUMMINGS HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior pitcher Ryan Cummings (Toms River, NJ/Toms River East HS) of the Moravian College baseball team has been named the Landmark Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for his performance last week.

Cummings earned his first victory of the season in Moravian's Landmark Conference sweep of USMMA.  Cummings tossed a complete game win, allowing four hits, an unearned run, a walk, and hit batter and eight strikeouts in a 5-1 victory.  Cummings also had two putouts and an assist in four chances in the field during the game.

The Greyhounds, who are 11-7 overall and 7-2 in Landmark Conference action, are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, April 7th in a non-conference game at Albright College beginning at 3:30 p.m.
