THREE GREYHOUNDS, TEAM RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III BASEBALL STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Three members of the Moravian College baseball team, and Greyhound squad are ranked in the third NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2010 season including games through April 4th.

Sophomore first baseman/pitcher Kevin O’Keefe (Alexandria, VA/Bishop Ireton HS) is ranked in four categories including being 30th in the country in RBIs per game at 1.56.  O’Keefe, pictured at right, is also 71st in slugging percentage at .780, tied for 87th in RBIs with 28 and tied for 65th in sacrifice flies with three.

Junior outfielder Jason Huber (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty HS) is 27th in runs per game at 1.53.  Huber, pictured at left, is just three runs shy of becoming the third player in school history to score 100 runs in a career.

Senior pitcher Chris Morrison (Middlesex, NJ/Immaculata HS), pictured at bottom right, is 71st in hits allowed per nine innings at 7.62, and he is 81st in ERA with a 2.77 ERA this spring.

Moravian is 41st in the nation in stolen bases per game with an average of 2.28 steals a contest.

The Greyhounds, who are 11-7 on the season, are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, April 7th in a non-conference game at Albright College beginning at 3:30 p.m.
