THREE GREYHOUNDS, TEAM RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III WOMEN’S LACROSSE STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Three members of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse and the Greyhound team is ranked in the third NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2010 season including games through April 11th.

Senior goalie Courtney Rosenberg (Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May Regional HS), pictured right, is 9th in the nation in saves per game at 13.0.  Rosenberg is also 19th in saves with 117 and 54th in save percentage at .048.  She has posted 117 saves in nine matches this season.

Senior midfielder Katie Wise (Ardsley, PA/Abington), pictured left, is tied for 51st in the nation in ground balls per game with 3.89 this season.

Junior midfielder Sarah Carman (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge HS), pictured right, is tied for 65th in the nation with an average of 3.38 draw controls per game.

Moravian is 52nd in the nation in draw controls per game at 13.44 and is 67th in ground balls at 22.0 per game.

The Greyhounds, who are 3-6 on the season, are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, April 17th in a Landmark Conference match at The University of Scranton beginning at 1:00 p.m. Moravian will return home on Thursday, April 22nd when they take on Gwynedd-Mercy College in a non-conference match starting at 4:00 p.m.
