MORAVIAN’S GARY ZACK HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Sophomore thrower Gary Zack (Mountain Top, PA/Crestwood) of the Moravian College men’s outdoor track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

Zack of Moravian earns the honor for the second-straight week after a solid day at the Greyhound Invitational. The sophomore posted an NCAA automatic qualifying distance of 63.17 to place second in the javelin. The throw was the second-best in school history in the event. He also added a best throw of 39.12 to place 20th in the hammer.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Thursday, April 22nd when they are set compete at the Penn Relays hosted by the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.
