MORAVIAN’S JONATHAN HEBERLING HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Freshmen jumper Jonathan Heberling (Slatington, PA/Northern Lehigh HS), picutred right, of the Moravian College men’s outdoor track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

Heberling was named the Field Athlete of the Year in helping Moravian to the 2010 Landmark Outdoor Championships. The freshman placed second in three field events with marks of 1.88-meters (six feet, two inches) in the high jump, 6.76-meters (22 feet, 2 ¼ inches) in the long jump and 12.49-meters (40 feet, 11 3/4 inches) in the triple jump for Moravian.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Friday, May 7th when they are set compete at the 2010 NYC Qualifying Challenge at Icahn Stadium in New York, NY.
