MORAVIAN’S JESSICA FORAN HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior guard Jessica Foran (Annandale, NJ/Rutgers Prep HS) of the Moravian College women’s basketball team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Foran helped the 23rd-ranked Greyhounds earn a 73-63 win at 4th-ranked The University of Scranton in the Landmark Conference Opener for both schools, and Moravian's only contest of the week.  Foran led all scorers with 16 points, and she added six rebounds, three assists, a steal and no turnovers in 30 minutes of action.  Foran was four-for-six from the field and eight-for-11 at the foul line in the victory.

Moravian has won three straight games to improve to 5-1 overall this season, and the Greyhounds are 1-0 in Landmark Conference action.  Moravian is scheduled to return to the court on Monday, December 7th versus rival and 16th-ranked Muhlenberg College in Johnston Hall at 7:00 p.m.
