MORAVIAN’S ARIELLE CALDAS RANKED IN FINAL NCAA WOMEN’S SOCCER STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Moravian College sophomore forward Arielle Caldas (Cherry Hills, NJ/Cherry Hills West HS) is ranked in the final NCAA Division III women’s soccer statistics release of the 2009 season.

Caldas finished the season 53rd in the nation in points per game with an average of 2.07, and she was 48th in goals per contest at 0.929.  Caldas, who netted a pair of hat tricks earlier this fall, has 13 goals and three assists for 29 points in 14 matches this season.

The Greyhounds, who completed the season at 8-8-2, received a berth to the 2009 ECAC South Championship Tournament field, falling to Stevenson University, 3-2 in overtime, in the quarterfinals.
