MORAVIAN ANNOUNCES ANNUAL “TAKE A KID TO THE GAME” DAY PRESENTED TO THE LEHIGH VALLEY
Come support the Greyhounds at their women’s basketball game January 30th

BETHLEHEM, PA (January 22, 2010) –Moravian College will host its annual NCAA® Women’s Basketball Take A Kid to the Game® day for Saturday, January 30, 2010, where they will host the United States Merchant Marine Academy at 2:00 p.m. in Johnston Hall.

Area youth 13 and under are invited to attend this special event and receive a free ticket with the purchase of a full-priced adult ticket. Moravian will have giveaways and on-court promotions for the kids.

Take a Kid to the Game Day, in its 15th year, is a program sponsored by the NCAA and it aims at increasing support of local college teams by getting families to come watch teams play.  Moravian, which is participating in the program for the seventh straight year, is hosting one of the 700 games this season affiliated with Take a Kid to the Game.  The program is aimed at allowing kids to experience intercollegiate athletics and a game-day atmosphere.
