GREYHOUND’S BLAKE ENGLISH RANKED NATIONALLY IN NCAA DIVISION III STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College men’s basketball team has one player ranked and the squad is ranked in one category in the ninth NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2009-10 season for games through February 21st.

Freshman center Blake English (Sussex, NJ/Vernon Township HS) is tied for 75th in the country in blocked shots with an average of 1.5 blocks per game.  English had 37 blocked shots in 24 games during his debut season.

The Greyhounds are 27th in free throw percentage this season at 74.5 percent, making 316 of-424 free throw attempts. 

Moravian has completed the 2009-10 season with an overall mark of  7-18 overall and 3-11 record in Landmark Conference action.
