MORAVIAN WOMEN’S SOCCER NINTH IN MID-ATLANTIC REGION
KANSAS CITY, KS --- The Moravian College women’s soccer team is ranked ninth in the first National Soccer Coaches Association of America/addidas Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings of the 2010 season released Tuesday.
The Greyhounds, who are 2-0-1 overall on the season, started the season with a 0-0 tie versus Lebanon Valley College and wins over Baldwin-Wallace College and Hiram College to win the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament hosted by Penn State-Behrend.
The Greyhounds have four matches remaining this season against teams ranked higher in the region including at #5 Dickinson College on September 18th, versus #4 Elizabethtown College on September 22nd, versus #3 Eastern University on September 29th and versus #6 Haverford College on October 13th.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, September 8th in a non-conference match versus Ursinus College at 4:00 p.m. on the HUB Quad in Bethlehem.
