MORAVIAN’S MATTHEW LUTCZA NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Junior Matthew Lutcza (Dingmans Ferry, PA/Delaware Valley HS) of the Moravian College men’s cross country team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for his performance last week.

Lutcza was 50th of 357 runners in the Brown race at the 37th Annual Brooks Paul Short Run with a time of 26:21 on the 8,000-meter course, Lutcza’s best time of the season.  As a team, Moravian was 29th of 40 teams in the Brown race.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 9th at the DeSales University Invitational beginning at 10:30 a.m. in Center Valley.
