SPORTS MASCOT TRAINING CAMP COMING TO MORAVIAN COLLEGE
Camp to teach character development, performance skills, costume care

BETHLEHEM, PA — Oversized furry creatures will be put through their paces during a two-day training camp for sports mascots at Moravian College on Friday, October 29 and Saturday, October 30. The camp will be attended by high school, college, corporate, and professional sports mascots.  Camp participants will learn character development, performance skills, costume care, cooperative skills, and more.

All campers will receive a DVD of their drills and performances, a take-home manual, as well as a skit they can take home for performances and pep rallies.   The “graduation performance” will consist of a halftime performance at the Moravian College football game for the NCAA “Take a Kid to the Game” Day event on Saturday, October 30.

Instruction will be provided by Erin Blank, former mascot for the Detroit Tigers, the Washington Capitals, and founder of Keystone Mascots and websites http://www.keystonemascots.com/ and http://www.mascot.net/, assisted by host Moravian College’s Amos the Greyhound, pictured, the 2010 SportsTalkNY Mascot Madness Champion and his “DawgPack” performance team.
