MORAVIAN’S MATTHEW LUTCZA NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Junior Matthew Lutcza (Dingmans Ferry, PA/Delaware Valley HS) of the Moravian College men’s cross country team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for his performance last week.

Lutcza, who is the Landmark Conference Runner of the Week for the second time in three weeks, paced the Greyhounds at the Leopard Invitational hosted by Lafayette College, finishing 17th of 110 runners in a time of 26:44.40 on the 8,000-meter course.  Moravian was fifth of nine teams in a meet that featured five NCAA Division I schools.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 30th in the 2010 Landmark Conference Championships being hosted by Goucher College in Towson, Maryland.
