MORAVIAN’S THOMAS FENYAK HONORED AS EMPIRE 8 CONFERENCE MEN’S GOLF PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ROCHESTER, N.Y. --- Sophomore Thomas Fenyak (Centreville, VA/Westfield HS) of the Moravian College golf team has been named the Empire 8 Conference Men’s Golf Player of the Week for his performance last week.

Fenyak earned medalist honors at the Bent Creek Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall College at the Bent Creek Country Club with an even par round of 71 on Monday. Later in the week, Fenyak helped Moravian defeat DeSales University, 390-351.  He had a 75 on the par 71 Brookside Country Club course, placing second for the Greyhounds and second of the 14 golfers.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Monday, October 18th at The Invitational Tournament hosted by Muhlenberg College at the Lehigh Country Club.
