MORAVIAN’S KEVIN O’KEEFE NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, N.J. --- Junior first baseman Kevin O’Keefe (Alexandria, VA/Bishop Ireton HS) of the Moravian College baseball team has been named the Landmark Conference Baseball Player of the Week for his performance last week.

O’Keefe helped Moravian open its Spring Break trip to Florida with a 10-2 win over Mount Saint Mary (NY) College.  In the contest, O’Keefe was four-for-five at the plate with a double, a triple and three RBIs, and he also recorded 13 putouts at first base.

The Greyhounds will continue their trip to the RussMatt Baseball 2011 Central Florida Invitational with a doubleheader against Mount Aloysius College on Monday, March 7th.
