MORAVIAN’S CHELSEA OTT NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, N.J. --- Sophomore Chelsea Ott (Allentown, PA/Dieruff HS) of the Moravian College women’s tennis team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Ott, who earned Player of the Week honors for the second time this season, remained undefeated in singles action and helped Moravian to a 5-4 win over The Catholic University of America in Landmark Conference action.  Ott won in straight sets at first singles to stay 6-0 on the season, and she combined with freshman Katie Zien (West Suffield, CT/Suffield HS) for a win at second doubles.

The Greyhounds, 5-3 overall and 2-0 in Landmark Conference play, are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, March 29th when the squad hosts Muhlenberg College for a 4:00 p.m. non-conference match at Hoffman Courts.
