MORAVIAN’S MICAH LEONARD NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

MADISON, N.J. --- Sophomore Micah Leonard (York, PA/William Penn HS) of the Moravian College women’s outdoor track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Leonard was second in the triple jump at the non-scoring Greyhound Invitational with an ECAC qualifying distance of 11.00 meters (36 feet, 1 1/4 inches), and she was third in the long jump at an ECAC qualifying mark of 5.45 meters (17 feet, 10 3/4 inches).  Leonard also ran a leg on Moravian's ECAC qualifying 4x100-meter relay team that was third in 50.60 seconds, and she was also 22nd in the 100-meter dash in 13.11 seconds.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, April 20th at the Gwynedd-Mercy College Twilight Meet.
