MORAVIAN’S ERIC WOODRUFF NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK                  

MADISON, N.J. --- Senior sprinter Eric Woodruff (Brodheadsville, PA/Pius X HS) of the Moravian College men’s track & field team has been named the first Landmark Conference Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for the 2011 season for his performance last week.

Woodruff won the 60-meter dash in an NCAA Division III provisional, and ECAC qualifying and school record time of 6.94 seconds at the Lehigh University Season Opener to lead Moravian. Woodruff also won the 200-meter dash with an ECAC qualifying time of 22.66 seconds, an event he has won at the last two NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships.

Moravian’s track & field teams will not return to action until Saturday, January 22, 2010 when they return for another meet at Lehigh.
