THREE GREYHOUNDS RANKED AMONG NATIONAL LEADERS IN FINAL NCAA DIVISION III BASKETBALL STATISTICS

OVERLAND PARK, KS --- Seniors Jessie Coughlin (Bethlehem/Bethlehem Catholic HS), Gina Sebastionelli (Bethlehem/Bethlehem Catholic HS) and Matt Getter (Broomall/ Marple Newtown HS) from the Moravian College basketball teams are ranked among the nations leaders in the final 1998-99 NCAA Division III basketball statistics.

Coughlin was ranked 20th in the country in three-pointer per game this past season with 59 treys in 24 games for a 2.5 per game average. She finished her career with1,137 points, 346 assists, 312 steals and 166 three-pointers, all of which ranked in the top ten in school history.

Sebastionelli was 26th in the nation in free throw percentage this past winter, connecting on 73 of 89 free throw attempts for a .820 percentage. In her career, Sebastionelli shot .756 from the free throw line with 186 free throws in 246 attempts.

Getter finished the season tied for 31st in the country in three-pointers per game. He averaged 3.0 three pointers a contest with 71 treys in 24 games. Getter’s 71 three-pointers this past winter set the Moravian school record for a single season. He also owns the school records for three-pointers in a game with nine against Elizabethtown this year and three-pointers in a career with 143.
