PUKSZYN NAMED DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR AT MORAVIAN

BETHLEHEM, PA --- Former Moravian College All-Middle Atlantic Conference defensive lineman Jeff Pukszyn has been named defensive coordinator at Moravian College.

For the past two years, Pukszyn has been the defensive line coach for the Greyhounds. Five Moravian defensive linemen that Pukszyn has coached the past two seasons have been named to the MAC Commonwealth League All-Star teams.

Pukszyn, a native of Allentown, graduated from Moravian in 1997 with a degree in sociology. He was a three-year letterwinner for the Greyhounds and was a member of the MAC Commonwealth League All-Star teams in 1994 and 1996. Pukszyn was also a preseason All-American in 1996.

Moravian will return nine players on defensive that started at least five games, including eight that started all ten games, last season for the 3-7 Greyhounds. Pukszyn will assist head coach Scot Dapp, who holds an 80-42-1 record in his 12 years at the school.
