MORAVIAN HIRES EIGHT NEW MEMBERS TO ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT

BETHLEHEM, PA --- The Moravian College Athletics Department has announced the appointment of eight new employees effective immediately.

  • Eric LambinusHead Men’s and Women’s Soccer Coach. Lambinus is a 1994 graduate of Moravian College and was a Middle Atlantic Conference All-Star during his playing days. He earned a Master’s degree from East Stroudsburg University in 1999 and has worked the past year as assistant men’s soccer coach, athletic department administrative intern and Finance Assistant to the Senior Vice-President of Finance and Management at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland.
  • Martha KerrickHead Field Hockey Coach. Kerrick returns to Moravian College as head coach of the field hockey program. She was an assistant for the Lady Greyhounds from 1988 to 1994. The 1987 Earlham College graduate has spent the last four years as head coach of the field hockey program at Marywood College. Kerrick, who has a Master’s degree from East Stroudsburg University, also worked as an intern in the Marywood Athletic Office and as assistant softball coach.
  • Lorrie RadcliffAssistant Athletic Trainer. Radcliff comes to Moravian College from Wagner College where she recently completed her Master’s Degree and served two years as Assistant Athletic Trainer. Radcliff, who is a 1997 graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College, will work with Moravian’s 16 athletic programs.
  • Mike KramerAssistant Football Coach. Kramer, a graduate of East Stroudsburg University, joins the Moravian College coaching staff this season as a volunteer coach. While at ESU, Kramer was 12th in the nation as a punter in his junior year and was named to the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Second Team. Kramer is a native of Bethlehem and is the brother of Kaitie Kramer, a setter on Moravian’s Volleyball squad.
  • Art SmithAssociate Men’s Tennis Coach. Smith, a 1968 graduate of Moravian College and a member of the school’s Hall of Fame, is moving from assistant men’s basketball coach to associate men’s tennis coach this year. Smith, a history teacher at Parkland High School in Allentown, was the head boy’s tennis coach at Parkland from 1976 to 1991. During his tenure, he led Parkland to numerous league championships and set the record for consecutive league wins. Smith, who earned a Master’s degree from Lehigh University in 1972, is currently the Director of Tennis for the City of Bethlehem and is a certified tennis teaching professional by the USPTA.
  • James OszeyczikEquipment Manager. Oszeyczik, a retired elementary school teacher from Alpha, New Jersey, is the new equipment manager at Moravian. Oszeyczik is a 1968 graduate of Monmouth College and has worked with many different youth organizations as equipment manager, coach and official.
  • B. J. DuganAssistant Men’s Basketball Coach. Dugan, a 1995 graduate of Lycoming College, is currently a social studies teacher at Parkland High School and has spent the last four years as an assistant girl’s coach. Dugan played basketball two years at Lycoming and graduated from Northwestern Lehigh High School.
  • Kim HouserHead Cheerleading Coach. Houser graduated from Emmaus High School in 1978 and currently works as a jazzercise instructor.
