LADY GREYHOUND VOLLEYBALL RANKED 5TH IN MID-ATLANTIC REGION

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- For the second straight week, the Moravian College women’s volleyball team is ranked fifth in the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional poll released Tuesday.

The Lady Greyhounds, 11-5 overall, remained fifth in the region despite posting a 1-3 record at the Trinity (TX) University Fall Classic last weekend. One of Moravian’s three losses was to the host school, Trinity, which is ranked first in the south region and fifth in the American Volleyball Coaches Association national poll.

Moravian will return to action on Thursday, October 7th when the Lady Greyhounds host Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in a 7:00 p.m. match at Johnston Hall. The match pits two teams ranked in the Mid-Atlantic region as the Ospreys are eighth.
