WHALEN, GREYHOUNDS RANKED IN NCAA BASKETBALL STATS

BETHLEHEM, PA --- Senior guard Rich Whalen (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick HS) of the Moravian College men’s basketball team is ranked in the latest NCAA Division III national statistics released Thursday.

Whalen entered play this week ranked tied for ninth in the nation at 3.2 steals per game. The Greyhounds as a team entered the week ranked 13th nationally in free throw percentage at .741 percent. Whalen leads Moravian and the MAC Commonwealth Conference with a free throw percentage of .854 percent.

Moravian currently has an 8-10 overall record and a 4-6 record in the MAC Commonwealth Conference after winning its last two games. The Greyhounds return to action on Saturday, February 5th at Wilkes University at 2:00 p.m.
