WHALEN, GREYHOUNDS RANKED IN NCAA BASKETBALL STATS

BETHLEHEM, PA --- Senior guard Rich Whalen (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick HS) of the Moravian College men’s basketball team is ranked in the latest NCAA Division III national statistics released Thursday.

Whalen entered play this week ranked tied for 13th in the nation at 3.2 steals per game. The Greyhounds as a team entered the week ranked 15th nationally in free throw percentage at .743 percent. Whalen leads Moravian and is ranked third in the MAC Commonwealth Conference with a free throw percentage of .854 percent.

Moravian currently has a 6-10 overall record and a 2-6 record in the MAC Commonwealth Conference. The Greyhounds return to action on Saturday, January 29th at Juniata College at 2:00 p.m.
