Moravian ran its winning streak to five straight games and
improved to 3-0 in Commonwealth Conference action with a 70-58 victory at Lebanon Valley College.
The Flying Dutchmen had an early 5-4 lead before a 7-0 Greyhound run put
Moravian ahead for good. The Greyhounds, who are ranked 15th in the nation in
the USA Today/ESPN Division III Coaches' Poll and 17th in the D3hoop.com Top 25
poll, would lead by as many as 13 points in the first half with a 38-25
halftime edge, and Moravian would stretch the lead to 20 points early in the
second half to see Lebanon Valley close within eight points twice. The
Greyhounds struggled shooting all game, making just 29 of 81 field goal attempts
(35.8 percent) and ten of 23 free throw attempts (43.5 percent). Moravian did

goal percentage, was just nine of 22 from the floor and three of six at the
foul line; however, Applegate did
add four assists and four steals, both career highs, in the victory. Senior
