Moravian had its three-game winning streak snapped in a 72-57 loss at Albright College in Commonwealth Conference action. The loss to the Lions was Moravian's first since a 67-63 loss in Reading on February 8, 2000, a span of 12 straight victories by the Greyhounds. Albright led 15-12 with 7:51 remaining in the first half before Moravian went on a 12-2 run for a 24-17 lead with 5:05 before the intermission. However, the Greyhounds scored just two points the rest of the half while the Lions ran off 12 points to head to the locker room with a 29-26 lead. Moravian was just nine of 35 (25.7 percent) from the floor in the first half and eight of 11 at the foul line while missing all four three-point attempts. Albright used a 10-2 run to start the second half, taking a 39-28 lead with 17:01 remaining in the game. The Greyhounds pulled within seven points at 43-36 with 12:52 to play, but the Lions quickly pushed the lead to 17 points with a 10-0 run over the next three minutes. Albright would keep its lead in double digits the rest of the way. Moravian's shooting woes continued in the second half with the Greyhounds making nine of 31 field goal attempts (29.0 percent) in the second half, two of five three-pointers and 11 of 15 free throws. Moravian had two players in double figures with senior forward Kelly Applegate (Easton, PA/Wilson HS) netting 14 points and freshman guard Amanda Brown (Schuylkill Haven, PA/Schuylkill Haven HS) tossing in ten points. That basket started an 11-0 run for the Greyhounds to give the team a 15-6 lead with 7:51 to play. Elizabethtown rallied and retook the lead at 22-21 with 2:11 left until the intermission. Moravian got the lead back and headed to the locker room with a 25-24 advantage.
