DeBonis hit a solo home run to center field, her second homer of the season, to lead off the inning. Falzarano would eventually hit a two-RBI double scoring Mangieri, who had singled, and Agnew, who had reached on a fielder's choice.

Moravian's final run came in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Greyhounds' final at-bat due to the NCAA eight-run rule. Freshman pinch hitter Amie Ballo walked to lead off the inning and then junior second baseman Katie Agnew (Doylestown, PA/Lansdale Catholic) reached on an infield single. The runners would move up a base as the Eagles tried to pull off a double play on a line drive hit by Mangieri but a throwing error gave the runners an additional base. Sophomore third baseman Kelly Maressa (Allentown, PA/William Allen) then hit an RBI single up the middle to score Ballo while Katie Agnew was out at the plate on the play, the second runner Moravian had thrown out at the plate in the game. The Greyhounds had 11 hits in the game with Klepeisz and Paly each going two-for-three.
