Moravian took a seven-point lead, 32-25, on a three-pointer by senior forward Eric Whitman (Blairstown, NJ/Notre Dame East Stroudsburg) before the Devils started to climb back into the contest. FDU-Florham would eventually take a 40-39 lead with 12:45 remaining in the contest and would also lead 44-43 before a 12-1 Greyhound run put Moravian up 55-45 with 4:33 left to play. The Greyhounds' lead would be 14 points, 65-51, with 1:04 to play. This Week – No games scheduled

The Greyhounds won their inaugural Landmark Conference game with a 63-61 victory at The University of Scranton. The win was the second straight for Moravian, and the Greyhounds' first at Scranton since a 79-76 win in the Middle Atlantic Conference playoffs on February 24, 1998. The contest went back-and-forth early with neither team leading by more than two points until a three-point play by Greyhound sophomore forward Alyssa Bisci (Easton, PA/Easton), who returned to the line-up after missing four games with an injury, to give Moravian a 13-10 lead with 9:57 remaining in the first half. The Royals, who received votes in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 poll after being ranked last week and were 18th in the USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Poll, would pull within a point before the Greyhounds pushed the lead to six points at 22-16 on a jumper by Moravian sophomore guard Amanda Brown (Schuylkill Haven, PA/Schuylkill Haven) with 5:41 left until the intermission. Moravian was just ten of 30 from the field (33.3 percent) and one of three behind the three-point line in the first half; however, the Greyhounds were 14 of 15 at the foul line to build their lead. When the teams came back onto the floor for the second half, it took nearly three minutes for anyone to score. Sophomore forward Kirsty Stearns (East Norwich, NY/Oyster Bay) scored at the 17:16 mark to give Moravian its biggest lead of the game to that point, 37-30. The Greyhounds pushed the lead to eight points on three occasions, the final time at 44-36 on a pair of free throws by sophomore forward Lauren Fornazor (Rivervale, NJ/Pascack Valley) with 14:50 remaining. Over the next two minutes, Scranton went on a 7-0 run to pull within a point at 44-43 with 12:37 left in the second half, and the Royals would eventually jump out to a three-point lead, 52-49, with just 7:07 to play. Moravian had started a run while trailing by four points and ran off a total of 19 straight points for a 27-12 lead with just 5:36 until the intermission. The Greyhounds would keep that lead in double figures for the remainder of the first half and head to the locker room with a 34-21 lead after shooting 12 of 32 from the floor (37.5 percent), one of eight behind the three-point line and a perfect nine-for-nine at the foul line in the first 20 minutes. The Greyhounds were in control the entire second half with the Bears only getting within six points once at 38-32 with 16:10 to play, but Moravian maintained a double-digit lead for most of the half. Then the Mules ran off seven straight points for a 7-2 lead, the first of eight five-point leads for Muhlenberg during the first half. The Mules led 23-18 with 8:23 remaining before halftime when the Greyhounds put together an 8-2 run capped by a jumper from Foran to take a 26-25 lead, Moravian's first since Bisci's opening basket. The Greyhounds finished the first half by extending the run to 24-11 for a 40-34 lead at the break. Both teams shot the ball well during the first 20 minutes with Moravian making 13 of 32 field goal attempts (40.6 percent), one of five three-pointers and 13 of 17 free throws. Moravian scored the first points of the second half on a pair of Bisci free throws for an eight-point lead, 42-34. The Greyhounds led 44-36 after a pair of free throws by Stearns before Muhlenberg went on a 10-2 run to tie the game at 46-46.  The Mules made the next basket to give Muhlenberg a 48-46 lead. Moravian would tie the game at 48-48 before the Mules pulled away 56-50 on a three-pointer. Muhlenberg would have its largest lead of the game, seven points, after three-pointer gave the Mules a 63-56 advantage with 7:28 to play. Trailing by six points with 5:28 play, Brown connected on back-to-back three-pointers to tie the contest at 65-65 with 3:56 left in regulation. Both teams then went cold from the field with the next points coming on a Muhlenberg lay-up with 19 seconds remaining. Brown retied the game with 13 seconds remaining on a jumper that forced overtime at 67-67. In the second half, Moravian struggled shooting the ball from the field, making just seven of 25 field goals (28 percent) and three of five on three-pointers; however, The Greyhounds were 10 of 11 at the foul line to keep themselves in the contest. When the first overtime started, the Greyhounds jumped out to a five-point lead, 72-67, with 2:52 to play, and Moravian had a five-point edge, 74-69, with 1:51 on the clock. However, the Mules fought back and tied the contest at 77-77 with just over two seconds remaining. Muhlenberg jumped out to the quick lead at the start of the second overtime, taking an 81-78 lead. Moravian fought back and took the lead for good on a lay-up from Smith with 3:10 left on the clock. The shot was one of just three field goals the Greyhounds made in the second overtime as the squad scored its other 11 points at the foul line. Moravian made eight of ten free throws in the final 58 seconds including four by Bisci. The Greyhounds were five of ten from the field, one-for-one on three-pointers and 17 of 22 at the foul line in the two overtime periods.
