Career Development Strategists

What do the Career Development Strategists do?

Provide first year, full-time traditional undergraduate students with personalized support throughout the career exploration process by:

  • Working with the same group of students throughout their entire time at Moravian
  • Meeting students individually at least twice per semester or more as needed
  • Offering group workshops on various career and self-development topics

Help students...

  • Identify strengths, interests, and values through the TypeFocus assessment
  • Develop resumes, cover letters, and other professional documents
  • Find internships/externships, job opportunities, and graduate schools
  • Navigate the Career Readiness Digital Badging Program
  • …and much more!

Work collaboratively with the Student Success Advisors and Faculty Advisors also assigned to each first year student
