InFocus Global Seminars
Impactful. Relevant. Provocative.
InFocus Global Seminars are short-term study abroad opportunities that engage students in the first-hand study of critical local and global issues from a variety of perspectives. Led by Moravian College faculty and staff, each Global Seminar explores urgent questions related to Moravian College’s InFocus initiative: Health and Healthcare; War, Peace, and a Just Society; Poverty and Inequality; and Sustainability. InFocus Global Seminars map to on-campus InFocus learning, research and activism, and offer students critical global perspectives on complex issues facing society in the 21st century.
Current InFocus Global Seminars Include:
- Colombia: Global Perspectives on Culture, Identity, and Inequality
- Costa Rica: Tropical Ecology/Sustainability
- Japan: Exploring Culture, Peacebuilding, and the Legacies of War
