Would you like to travel to the jungle, the Andes, the desert, the Caribbean, and important metropolitan areas? Led by Lynnet Sánchez and Jenifer Branton, come experience the abundant diversity of Colombia through its music. You will see how the richness of the landscape and population influence its musical culture, food, and way of life.

TENTATIVE Itinerary
All the landmarks mentioned in this itinerary will be visited. Some changes may be made in the order they will be visited depending upon the weather.
Days 1 to 5: Cartagena: Learn about the musical styles and history of Palenque - a UNSECO World Heritage site.
Days 5 to 9: Santa Marta: Visit Tayrona National Park and indigenous communities and their influence with Colombian music, like Cumbia.
Days 9 to 12: Valledupar: Visit the accordion museum and indulge in the sights and sounds of Colombian styles of music in the birthplace of Vallenato.
Days 13 to 14: Medellin: Graffiti tour and learn about the shift to urban music, and learn about how it has become the capital of Reggaeton.
