IDIS 161.2: All About Prague
2023 Winter Break Cancelled
Travel Experience: All About Prague
2023 Spring Break Cancelled
Experience the capital city of the Czech Republic through the lens of Central European history, art, and culture. We spend the first half of the semester focusing on Czech history and surveying European architecture before departing for Prague (nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires”), where all the architectural styles of the last thousand years are on display. Spend your spring break uncovering the origins of the Moravian heritage and taking in the beauty of Prague. We will see an opera, tour museums, visit historical sites, and travel to Vienna for two days at the end of the visit.
There are two offerings of the All About Prague trip. The Winter Break option is a Travel Experience and is NOT credit-bearing. The Spring Break option is a Travel Course and is credit-bearing. Both trips have the same duration and cost.
