Consider the brilliance of your passion and your career uniting! It is quite exciting to consider my journey to the sixth oldest college in America. The revolutionary history of Moravian University encourages our work today where our liberal arts education prepares each individual for a reflective life, fulfilling careers, and transformative leadership in a world of change. The link to learn more about Moravian University history is https://www.moravian.edu/about/college-history The Economics and Business department recognizes that our kaleidoscopic roadmap to life encourages deep reflection, inquisitive exploration, and initiative to embrace lifelong learning.

We have over 400 students in our department and, it is with pride that, we encourage an exploration of our eight undergraduate majors/tracks, three graduate majors, and four graduate certificates. Please accept our warmest invitation to connect with our team of devoted faculty members to learn more about the exciting work we do with students. All full-time faculty members in our department have earned a doctorate in their respective field of expertise and take pride in teaching excellence, scholarship, and service to the Moravian University community. Our notable adjunct faculty members join us as we celebrate the work of John Amos Comenius – together – to embrace education as the development of universal knowledge among all people.

As a college, we aim to carry on the revolutionary work of Benigna von Zinzendorf, a 16- year old girl who founded Moravian University, the first school to educate women. It is an extraordinary honor to serve the Economics and Business department as the first female chairperson. As members of the Moravian University family, our department extends our warmest welcome to you as you join us on your transformational journey through college. Whether you decide to earn a graduate degree, conduct research, connect with our alumni, explore co- ops and internships, or study abroad, our aims are to support interdisciplinary connections in understanding how your major is embedded in the liberal arts and in the greater quest of lifelong learning.
