Adjunct Faculty - Predictive Analytics

Moravian College invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach courses in specialized areas of application in predictive analytics in the Economics and Business Department. Positions are available for the academic year beginning August 2018, in the Master of Science in Predictive Analytics program. Areas of knowledge needed include advanced modeling techniques, supply chain analytics, healthcare analytics, marketing analytics, web analytics, data visualization, and text analytics.

The Master’s of Science in Predictive Analytics (MSPA) is a 36 credit, 12 course master’s degree program that develops students’ competencies in data science. Students take a core set of courses in analytics, business research, and leadership then choose three elective courses with which they can focus their studies. Students in the MSPA program are working adults.

Successful applicants will at least hold a master’s degree in analytics, computer science, data science, information science, economics, statistics, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university at the time of appointment; a PhD is preferred. Professional work experience in applying predictive analytics to the area of application, supply chain, marketing, healthcare, etc., is required. Applications should have experience with data analytics tools (e.g. SQL Server, R, Microsoft Azure Machine Learning, SPSS, SAS, Excel).
