JOB POSTING: Programmer/ IT Analyst
The Programmer/IT Analyst will assist with the programming, support and maintenance of administrative and academic systems for Moravian College, including Jenzabar EX and JICS, Card Access system, Human Resources Information System, Dining Services software and multiple other systems that access student and employee data. This position analyzes user needs, develops system requirements and writes computer programs and procedures for use on the campus network. This position will also be involved with evaluating existing procedures and making recommendations for improvements. The Programmer/IT Analyst reports to IT’s Director of Custom Development.
This position is full-time, 12 months, and eligible for full benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a baccalaureate degree in Computer Science or a related field or commensurate professional experience is required. Must have experience with objected oriented programming and data structures. Two years of experience as a computer programmer with an understanding of relational databases is a preferred. The candidate should also possess excellent oral and written communication skills to explain system operations to a variety of users.
Other highly desirable qualifications are experience working with:
- Microsoft client/server environments
- ERP systems such as Jenzabar EX
- CRM systems such as Salesforce or JRM
- SQL Server querying and the transforming and loading of data
- Ability to learn new software packages quickly
- Perform system and process analysis.
