Journal Articles

“Light from dark: A relictual troglobite reveals a broader ancestral distribution for kimulid harvestmen (Opiliones: Laniatores: Kimulidae) in South America” co-authored by Daniel Proud, visiting assistant professor of biology, was published in the November 30, 2017, issue of the journal PLOS ONE.

"The Moderating Influence of Country of Origin Information Seeking on Homophily and Product Satisfaction," co-authored by Patrick Van Esch, assistant professor of management, was published in the Journal of Promotion Management, 24(3), 1-17. 


Awards and Recognition

Liz Kleintop, associate director of graduate programming and accreditation, has been elected chair of the board at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center. She has served as treasurer of the board since the center started and plans to serve as board chair for one year, as her final year on the Board.

Dana S. Dunn, professor of psychology, has been invited to join the Internal Review Board (IRB) at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Along with rehabilitation and medical professionals, Dunn will review and discuss research proposals involving clients at Good Shepherd. Dunn's expertise in the social psychology of disability and rehabilitation.


Professional Contributions

Diane Husic, dean of the college of natural and health sciences, was interviewed for the article “One Man’s Journal Chronicles a Backyard in Climate Flux,” published by The Morning Call on October 25, 2017. Husic collaborates with backyard observers to collect data and record changes in nature in the Lehigh Valley as part of a larger research initiative.
