Top 5 Hidden Study Spots at Moravian College
Have you ever wished for a campus hide away you could escape to for some studying or relaxation time? Are you the curious type who likes to know all the best nooks and corners in your dorm? Well today's your lucky day: here are five secret study spots to discover at Moravian College.
1. Veterans Lounge (Reeves Library)
This hidden treasure is tucked away in a corner of the bottom floor of Reeves Library. It’s a perfect place for our student veterans to study with their friends.
2. Music Department Library (Single Brethren's House)
A cozy and quiet area to knock out that paper that's due tomorrow or settle down with a favorite book. This library is a part of the Music Department and is home to folios and scores galore. It's like the Single Brethren’s House penthouse, with beautiful views of historic downtown Bethlehem.
3. Center for Intercultural Advancement (Moving from 1105 Main Street to 1138 Main Street)
The Intercultural House is an open, friendly place to hang out (I can personally attest to this). The common room always has students in it either studying or preparing for an event on campus. In this photo, students are preparing for Dia De Los Muertos or Day of the Dead. The faculty here are so welcoming and friendly, it might just become your home away from home.
4. Theater Lounge (Basement of the HUB)
You’ve probably seen at least one play on campus in our Arena Theater in the Haupert Union Building, but have you ever noticed the theater lounge next to it? The lounge is home to a comfy couch and a keurig, so stop by for for quiet time and some coffee!
5. The Coffee House (Wednesday Nights only in Main Hall)
Wednesday night coffee house on South Campus is a truly unique experience. Plenty of board games (my friends and I are Game of Life pros), friends, and of course coffee!
