Ah, college food: who doesn’t love over-salted, greasy, and pre-cooked questionable meat? Somehow, even the salads that aren’t tasteless seem to be loaded with added fat and sugar, especially if you don’t get dressing on the side. Thankfully, there are still quick and healthy food options you can try—if you’re willing to break in that unused stove top in your dorm’s kitchen.

It’s getting to be that time of year again—the dreaded finals week is just around the corner. The library will be packed and our blood will be pretty much replaced with coffee. But that doesn’t mean you can’t catch a quick nap to refuel your brain juices and get those intellectual thoughts pumping once more! Here’s the perfect guide to the best spots to relax and take a little breather from your busy day!

Decorating a college dorm room can be hard. There’s not a lot of space, all that cinderblock can make a dorm room look kinda like a prison cell, and for a few years, half of the room isn’t even yours to decorate. To top it off, there’s usually a harsh, fluorescent light that makes it painful to even look around. One decorative and useful way to light up your space is creating Mason Jar Lanterns! This inexpensive and DIY project is perfect for college students on a budget and can be bought at any Michaels or AC Moore.

I think we can all agree the only thing we miss more than mom doing our laundry is home-cooked meals on the regular. The Moravian College dining hall, or any dining hall for that matter, can't compare to mom’s meatloaf. But with the right tips and tricks it is, in fact, possible to enjoy eating on a college campus. The next time someone says “Caf?” in your groupchat, don’t be so quick to roll your eyes—the caf could very quickly become your new favorite meal time destination.
