Thank-a-Thon Week 2008

The Student Alumni Association held its first Thank-a-Thon last week in the HUB as a way to thank alumni, family, and friends who made a gift to the College during the last fiscal year. The students kicked-off the week in the HUB  with help from President Christopher Thomforde; Dr. Gordon Weil, vice president of academic affairs and dean of faculty; as well as Peter Caputo, vice president of institutional advancement, who signed the first "thank-you" postcards.

Representing the students at the kick-off were Jim Lavoy '10, USG president and Nicholas Heimbach '09, student alumni association president. SAA members encouraged their classmates to sign 1,000 postcards. SAA concluded the week with a Take a Donor to Lunch pizza party in the Doghouse for all Moravian faculty and staff who made a gift to the College in the 2007-08 fiscal year. Thank-a-Thon works toward SAA's goal to educate undergraduates about the importance of giving back to Moravian and thanking those who continuously support the College.
