Washington Monthly ranks 4-year schools (national universities, liberal arts colleges, baccalaureate colleges, and master’s universities) based on their contribution to the public good in three broad categories.
Student leaders from 285 campuses across 57 nations applied to join the select Class of 2018.  Only 30 campuses across 13 nations (11%) were selected to host 530 Millennium Fellows this year. Millennium Fellows’ projects are projected to positively impact the lives of more than 310,000 people worldwide.
Following in the footsteps of other local schools, Moravian College is opening a food pantry for this school year to provide basic food and hygiene necessities to students in need.
The guide’s profile mentions that Moravian College feels like “a family” of students “pursuing their passions together,” says a music education major. “The professors are fantastic,” a biology major attests. They are “extremely good at taking complex topics and making them understandable for students of any major or background” and “they are always willing to talk to students and help them out.”
Today, Moravian College announced the names of the 645 students named to the Dean’s Honor List for the Spring 2018 semester. Students who carry three or more course units during the fall or spring term and attain a GPA for the term of 3.50 or higher are placed on the Dean’s Honor List.
The ceremony concluded the 276th academic year at Moravian. Moravian College President Bryon L. Grigsby ’90 conferred degrees to approximately 372 bachelor degree candidates, 79 graduate degree candidates and 20 seminary candidates.

In the event of severe weather, the program will be held on Sunday, May 13, at 10:00 a.m. at the PPL Center in Allentown, Pa. Moravian College President Bryon L. Grigsby ’90 will confer degrees on approximately 372 undergraduate, 79 graduate, and 20 seminary students at this year’s ceremony.  
“We are grateful that Moravian College has agreed to take on ownership of the Moravian Book Shop from the Northern Province, and we are particularly happy that we are able to keep this treasure in the ‘Moravian family’,” commented the Rev. Dr. Betsy Miller, president of the Moravian Church Northern Province.
