G.K. Gandhi is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer and diplomat, who was the 22nd Governor of West Bengal serving from 2004 to 2009. Mr. Gandhi currently teaches at Ashoka University, where he is a Professor of History and Politics.
On Wednesday, district and Moravian College officials held celebrations for the two Superintendent Scholarship winners at each of their high schools. Since 2016, Moravian College has awarded two Bethlehem Area School District students full scholarships, minus room and board.
This is the fourth year that the Bethlehem Area School District and Moravian have partnered to award two district students – one from Liberty and one from Freedom High School – with a full, four-year scholarship to the Bethlehem school.
Moravian College placed 9th on the list for Midsize employers (125-499 employees).
Moravian College President Bryon Grigsby will confer the honorary degree to Mr. Sedaka on Friday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Moravian College’s Foy Concert Hall, 342 Main Street, Bethlehem, PA. 
NCC and LCCC students earning their Associates Degree in May of 2019 are eligible to apply for the scholarship(s) available through their respective schools.
The Bethlehem college announced Thursday that its new scholarship will be for students from NCC and LCCC wishing to continue their education in fall 2019, according to a news release.
