CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Colleges and universities across the country have been developing and implementing plans for the fall as the coronavirus pandemic introduces new challenges.
Students at some local colleges will start returning to campus in the next few days and weeks.
Moravian College will welcome back about 1,000 residents when students start moving in next week. Students were given the option of single or double rooms, and the school said many have opted to have a dorm-mate.
"Only the residents of the room are permitted in the room, common areas within the halls will not be accessible. They'll only be able to access their room and bathroom facilities," said Liz Yates, Associate Dean of Students.
The school also has isolation housing set aside for students who test positive.
