Bethlehem, Pa., June 2, 2016—Moravian College’s Economics and Business Department and the Stratix Systems Marketing Partnership recently announced that Curtis Wentzel ’17, has been selected as the inaugural Stratix Systems Fellow.

Wentzel will work on a real-time marketing question or challenge facing Stratix Systems during his 12-week fellowship this summer.  He will prepare a white paper on a selected research topic to be proposed by Stratix Executive Team and be supervised by both Stratix Systems executives and an academic advisor from the Economics & Business Department at Moravian. For his service, he will earn a stipend and receive a full unit of credit.

Wentzel, a rising senior with a major in Business Management, is excited about the opportunity.  “Being chosen as the inaugural fellow for Stratix Systems excites me because I get to do the two things I love; help create something exciting and new and improve that something for the future Fellows,” said Curtis about his recent appointment.

The Stratix Systems Fellow is a program of the Stratix Systems Marketing Partnership, a joint venture between the Economics & Business Department and the Reading-based technology company. The Partnership was created last fall (2015) and also sponsored a sales presentation competition. That competition was won by graduating senior, Alexis Silvoy, who majored in German/International Management. For more information, visit the Stratix Systems Marketing Partnership webpage.
