From Lloyd:

Burton Kelchner and his wife, Ann, are living in a retirement community and still enjoy reasonably good health. He reports he attended several alumni reunions, the last in 2004. He indicated that he saw only two others from the Class of 1943. Burt’s e-mail address is burtannk@hotmail.com.

Like Burt, I have made several trips back to Moravian for reunions, the last in 1996. Besides seeing one other from my time at Moravian, I saw several 1940s graduates from the Women’s College that I knew.

Last fall Mary and I took a trip to visit most of the family (hers and mine) in the Midwest and East. It was an interesting combination of air, train, and auto travel as we went to the Chicago, Toledo, and Detroit area; New Hampshire; Washington, D.C. area; and Pennsylvania. Yes, we visited MC while in Pennsylvania, as we always do when back there. (For those who don’t know, I’m a late arrival to living in San Antonio.) We tend to get back to the College every three or four years. My brother James (Jim) Fatzinger ’61 passed away in 2007. He was a successful construction estimator who lived in Las Vegas. He authored a book on estimating that is being used at several colleges/universities.
