Jane Albrecht Graf wrote, “Hello to all of you from Door County, WI. Paul ’61 and I returned home after spending the month of March in Florida visiting family and friends. We had a wonderful lunch visit with Connie Platt Boos ’62 and her husband Fred in Tampa. Karen Kaprelian Jacob ’62 and her husband Jack ’61 were not able to join us but we had a good phone visit. Also we had a special visit with Sandie English Evansen ’61 in Coral Springs. Her husband Rod ’61 died this past January. In Venice we spent time with Burke Johnson ’MTS 67 and Eleanor. After many years it was so enjoyable to reconnect with classmates. Paul and I have two daughters and three grandchildren. Karen, John and their 8 year old twin sons live in Naperville, IL. Jana our granddaughter and mother Kristen live in Lander, WY. Being retired allows us to spend more time with all of them. It is hard to believe in two years we will be celebrating our 50th year reunion. Hopefully many of us can gather together to celebrate.”

From Emma:
Class of 1962:  Here are two items that arrived quite some time ago but got lost in my computer.  Sorry for the delay—especially since we haven’t had much news from our class.  Please do remember that our 50th Class Reunion will be in 2012!  That is coming up rather soon as time seems to fly by these days…so please mark it in your date books now (if you put it in Dec. 2010, then in Dec. 2011 as reminders for when you change date books, you should be ready for the Reunion in 2012!  And, if you would be willing to help plan the reunion, be sure to call the Alumni Office and they will notify you when it is time to meet for a planning session.  If you don’t think you could get to Bethlehem for a planning session, they could arrange a conference call.  –Emma
From Connie Platt Boos:
Hi Class of 1962,
Greetings from beautiful Useppa Island on Florida's west coast where Sylvia Rubens, Karen Kaprelian Jacob, and I, Connie Platt Boos, gathered for a girls' weekend.  Karen and Jack '61 retired from Moravian Academy and are wintering in Fort Myers.  They enjoy visiting with their two children John and Amy and their four granddaughters.  Sylvia spends time traveling and going to New York City and seeing the current plays.  Her travels have taken her to Germany to visit relatives, and to Turkey where she rode a horse from Inn to Inn in Cappadocia.  Connie and Fred and family moved to Temple Terrace near Tampa in 1970.  Fred and their son, Scott, and daughter, Natalie, are employed in the family business, Blasters, Inc.  They divide their time between Useppa, Temple Terrace and Lavallette, NJ in the summer.  While there Sylvia visits and we have lunch with Sue Astbury Decker '61.  Sylvia also sees Audrey Hair Meinke ’60, Nancy Warren Van Dyke’61, and Dee Dulick Miscal’59.  December 2008 brought a Christmas letter from Jane and Paul Graf '61 filled with tales of their busy life.
Jane and Paul, next time you're in Florida, please give Connie and Fred a call.  They would love to see you.  Hopefully, this note will inspire you all to send updates on your lives.
Life is good!  Cherish your family and friends!  We wish you happiness and good health in 2009.
              Connie, Sylvia and Karen
From Marie Drutz:
I am writing on behalf of a few of our classmates that thought it would be nice to see something in the Newsletter from the class of '62.  Thought you might be interested in knowing that Helen Georgeou Nonas, Bess Pappas Tauriello, Rosemarie Torok Goehringer, Gale Miller  Davis '60, Ginny Poulos Stecker and I,  Marie Rosenberg Drutz still remain great friends and  meet once a year for a  fun filled weekend at Ginny's lovely condo in Cape May, NJ.  In addition to the annual get together (sans spouses), we visit, travel together, email and call all through the year.  Helen, Bess, and I cruised to Alaska 3 years ago and this year we cruised to the Baltic countries. No agenda yet, for our next trip.   –Marie Drutz
