We are sad to report that Tamara Adams Harron passed away on May 30, 2019.
Emil Giordano, Esq., retired Northampton County judge, has joined the law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A.  He joined the firm’s Litigation Practice Group as Co-Chair and focuses his practice on commercial litigation and mediation & arbitration.  Emil served as a presiding judge on the Court of Common Pleas of Northampton County, Third Judicial District, from 2004 through 2018.

Suzanne Kupres Stianche has joined Penn State Lehigh Valley as the events specialist.  Suzanne previously served as the national sales manager at Discover Lehigh Valley.

Malvern Bancorp, Inc., parent company of Malvern Federal Savings Bank, announced the appointment of Rona Korman, Esq. as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of the Bank.  Rona is the former General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer of Center Bancorp, Inc.  Prior to Bancorp she was General Counsel for Big M, Inc.  Most recently Rona has been in private practice representing financial institutions, real estate developers and retail companies.

Suzanne Stianche has joined Discover Lehigh Valley as national sales manager.  Suzanne serves as the board chairwoman for Lehigh Valley Children’s Centers and is the philanthropy chairwoman and past president for American Advertising Federation Greater Lehigh Valley.

William P. Feigley, Ed.D was honored at the Bethlehem NAACP 69th Annual Freedom Fund Dinner on Sunday, February 16.  An honoree for dedication and service to minority students in the Bethlehem community, Dr. Feigley was presented with this year’s award by Esther M. Lee, President of the Bethlehem, NAACP.  He has been a school counselor in the Bethlehem Area School District for 26 years, and is currently assigned to Freedom High School.
Health insurer Aetna has named Laurie Riley Brubaker to head its operations in Pennsylvania, Delaware and West Virginia.

At a special ceremony, on October 12, in Orlando, Fla. Barbara Crothers Kremenski, DO ’82 received the College of American Pathologists Public Service Award.  A U.S. Marine Corps Colonel, Dr. Crothers is the program director of the National Capital Consortium’s anatomic and clinical pathology residency program.  She is also the medical director of cytopathology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., the initial domestic treatment and recovery site for most overseas causalities among U.S. military personnel.

Vanessa Schukis will be celebrating her 25th anniversary as a singer and choir member of the Old North Church in Boston on November 10, with a concert at the Church.  Donations that are received from the concert will go to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Old North Church.

Bonnie Walton Jordan lives in Medford, NJ with her husband, John, of 25 years and their two children, Drew, age 19 and Karleigh, age 17.  Drew is a sophomore at Cabrini College in Radnor, PA majoring in psychology and Karleigh is a junior in high school.  Bonnie is employed by Catholic Charities Diocese of Trenton as the program director of their Emergency and Community Services program in Burlington County NJ, a hunger and homelessness prevention program where she has worked for the past 13 years.

David Sommers recently had a showing of his art at Fox Optical’s gallery in Bethlehem. Some of his works can be found at his website www.davidsommersart.com. David continues to teach and coordinate some of the diversity and multicultural programs at Moravian Academy.

Moravian’s Head Softball coach, John Byrne picked up his 600th career victory on April 9 in the second game of the non-conference doubleheader sweep at Delaware Valley College. Byrne becomes the 14th active NCAA Division III softball coach, and the 20th Division III coach of all-time to reach 600 career wins.  He has built Moravian into one of the best NCAA Division III softball programs in the country.

            Vanessa Schukis performs opera, oratorio, and musical theatre. She is finishing her first semester as a guest faculty professor in the graduate opera department at New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts.
