Governor Rick Scott of Florida has elevated Judge Michael Williams to the circuit level.   County Judge Michael Williams, a former special counsel to the Office of Statewide Prosecution, will fill the vacancy created after the retirement of longtime Circuit Judge Daniel Perry.  Michael was appointed to the county bench last year.

Ann Marie Schlottman has been employed by Lehigh Valley Health Network since fall of 2010. “ I was inspired to work in healthcare after being diagnosed with Type1 diabetes as an adult, and I feel fortunate to help patients as I have been helped in my journey.  I write a blog about life with diabetes and also had a piece published in The American Diabetes Association’s Diabetes Forecast magazine in October 2013.  I am happy to share the story of my life-changing experiences and inspire others.”

Michelle Daino writes: After freelancing as a reporter and editor for three different companies from 2011 to 2016, I began my new position as the Director of Communications for Mount Saint Mary Academy in Watchung, New Jersey in February 2016.  Prior to that, I held the same position at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison, New Jersey from 2005-2011.  I love promoting the Mount, a Catholic high school for women.  I’ve been fortunate enough to combine my love for public relations and graphic design at the Mount – skills that Moravian always fostered and encouraged.

Ms. Gaza is a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Section and serves as co-chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee. An accomplished litigator, she represents national and international clients in significant intellectual property and commercial cases in Delaware’s state and federal courts.   A Fellow in and Delaware State Chair of the American Bar Foundation, Ms. Gaza is also a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America and was recently named to the IAM Patent 1000. She also serves as a neutral arbitrator through the American Arbitration Association.  Ms. Gaza has written and spoken extensively on areas relevant to her legal practice.

Andrea Dinan has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship.  Dinan will study in Oaxaca, Mexico in January of 2016 through the Distinguished Award in Teaching Program.  While in Mexico , she will attend university courses and research home environment factors and student achievement in local secondary schools.
City native Kevin Grace returns to Pottsville’s Majestic Theater for “Music at the Majestic” on Friday, May 22.  Kevin has wanted to return to the Majestic to bring joy to Schuylkill and promote the arts in the County region.  Grace sang at the Cathedral Basilica of Ss. Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, and at other notable locations including Italy.  He currently does freelance work involving singing but is also the principal cantor at St. Leo Roman Catholic Church in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, where he is also the choral director.

Todd Burkhardt has recently been promoted to lieutenant colonel in the Army.  He was a distinguished military graduate of Lehigh University’s ROTC program.   He has served in the Army for 20 years in a multitude of assignments as an infantry officer.  He earned his masters from University of South Carolina and is currently working on his doctorate in philosophy at the University of Tennessee.  Upon completion he will return to the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y. to teach philosophy.

Andrew Romberger recently left his law practice at Fox Rothschild LLP where he was partner in the corporate department, to become the Vice President and General Counsel of Nuron Biotech, Inc.  Nuron is a rapidly growing biopharmaceutical company based in Exton, Pa that had been a client of his since its inception.

Nancy Williamson married G. Draycott Hooke III on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem. Nancy resigned her elementary teaching position in the Southern Lehigh School District to move to the Poconos where the couple resides. She currently helps run drakesflakes.com, her husband’s online contemporary snowflake ornament and jewelry business. Draycott is an engineer at Hooke Machine Company and owner of HydroSource Inc., which specializes in water jet cutting.

          In April 2010, T&M Associates, a full service engineering firm in the tri-state region, announced a major expansion of its presence in Pennsylvania, particularly in the Lehigh Valley, and in Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware and Chester Counties. The firm hopes to accomplish this by hiring key personnel and technical support, and one of these new employees is Timothy Edinger. As someone with more than 35 years of experience in the municipal and real estate fields, he will serve as office manager for T&M Associates’ Lehigh Valley and Pocono regional operations. Timothy has also been appointed as the municipal engineer in several Lehigh Valley and Pocono region communities and has served as the zoning officer, building code official, floodplain administrator, sewage enforcement officer, and road occupancy administrator in various Pennsylvania communities. In addition, he was previously the Director of Engineering and Building Code Services for Base Engineering Inc. and an Assistant Business Unit Leader for CMX Inc.

Michelle Helen LePoidevin wed Charles Joseph Daino on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Linden, New Jersey. The reception was held at The Primavera Regency in Stirling, followed by a two-week honeymoon in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Michelle is the Director of Communications at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School, a college-preparatory, co-ed, independent school in Edison, New Jersey. Her husband is a Supervisor of Construction for Sweetwater Corporation in Cranbury, New Jersey. The couple currently resides in South Amboy, New Jersey.
