Deposit Deadline Extension Spring 2024

Deadline Extended from May 1, 2024, to June 1, 2024

Dear Moravian University Community,

We recently received an update from the U.S. Department of Education indicating an anticipated delay of approximately six weeks in the processing and transmission of data from the FAFSA to colleges. This delay not only impacts the timeline for our financial aid offers but also delays our ability to provide crucial information to new, incoming Fall 2024 first-time undergraduate students and families. 

In light of this new anticipated timeline, we are extending the enrollment deposit deadline for new first-year students from May 1, 2024, to June 1, 2024. 

The goal of this extension is to offer families more time to receive and review financial aid offers and allow time to address any questions before deciding to attend Moravian University. For students and families who have already submitted an enrollment deposit or choose to do so before June 1, the deadline for requesting a refund will also be extended to June 1, 2024, at 11:59 pm. These extensions apply to all students, regardless whether they have decided to fill out a FAFSA or elect not to do so (though we certainly encourage it). 

We will encourage families to submit their enrollment deposits as early as possible.  This allows us to ship you your Apple Technology, and in turn use that to better communicate with you throughout the spring and summer.
